Golden Palms Spa & Resort
believes in the holistic approach of developing the mind, body and
spirit to work in unison. The nature of health programs is biological and non-toxic,
and although developed and practiced in the West for many years, it can be related
in many aspects to some forms of traditional Eastern medicine.
These
programs adopt a holistic approach, which means total health care encompassing
a harmonious relationship between the physical, mental, spiritual, chemical and
energy aspects of health.
Architectural Design
Vision The sprawling grounds of landscaped and manicured lawns
are dotted with cobbled courtyards, walking trails housing Moorish design casitas,
which lends and blends with the overall grandeur of the resort and spa nestling
in sylvan surroundings of greenery and singing birds. The entire design motif
is pleasing to the eye and soothing to the tired mind. A 3 tier landscaped plants,
flowers, floral and green shrubs and grass lawns form a visual delight that encourages
relaxation and rejuvenation to balance the body, mind and spirit. The whole design
encompasses floral settings amongst swaying palm trees, broken by a water barrier
in the middle comprising an 130 meter free shaped swimming pool interspersed with
water bodies, water falls and spray fountains in the middle of the courtyard.

Spa Facilities Spa facilities include
sauna and steam rooms, treatment rooms for face and body, massages, wraps, hydrotherapy
suite and a beauty salon. The fitness programs are wide ranging to allow guests
of all ages, at various physical capabilities, to join in any of the programs.
The facilities and services available are health / fitness assessment, body composition
analysis, personal fitness training, physiotherapy, gymnasium with state-of-the-art
equipment, exercise studio for all aerobic and workout programs, and an outdoor
pool for such activities as volleyball and aqua aerobics.
Spa
Guidance To schedule a health consultation or make an appointment,
please contact spa reception. We recommend that you arrive atleast 30 minutes
prior to your scheduled appointment so that you may enjoy the steam, sauna and
Jacuzzi, or simply relax on our wonderful heated water beds. When using heat treatments,
keep well hydrated and do not spend longer than 10 minutes at a time
Sports For sports enthusiasts, there are
outdoor swimming pool, two outdoor, clay surface tennis courts two squash courts,
jogging track, snooker, billiards and american pool tables. Other facilities include
children's nursery & playroom with attendants along with baby-sitting facility.
Fooding & Lodging The Golden

Rooms
Designed in Mediterranean style, the Resort's 132 well appointed Deluxe and Superior
rooms feature a large balcony or terrace with garden views. Room facilities include
generously sized rooms, individually controlled air conditioning, in-room safe,
color television with satellite programs, direct dial telephone with PC data port,
mini-bar, coffee and tea making facilities, luxuriously fitted bathroom with shower
stall etc.
Suites The rooms
are located in eleven pavilions, with 18 suites and 2 Presidential Suites - the
"Tipu Sultan" and the "Poorniya."The 18 suites have exclusive
gardens, and overlook the 130 metre lagoon-shaped swimming pool.
Restaurants
& Bars Guests can choose from six superb food and beverage
outlets, including three restaurants offering scrumptious local and exotic cuisine
in addition to two bars and a café for refreshment and relaxation.
The Cafe Solaire It is our poolside
all day indoor-outdoor dining restaurant offering a neo tropical buffet and a
la carte menu, complimented with a large selection of Indian dishes. Choose from
a wide variety of fresh seasonal fruits, salads, pastas, breads, grilled dishes,
cold meats, desserts and a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Enjoy
your Sundays with your family at our elaborate Sunday Lunch.
The
Garden of Eden It is located at the ground floor arcade. The resort's
signature supper club, serving predominantly seafood in trans ethnic international
style with Asian and oriental flavors. The supper club offers semi formal dining
with a cocktail bar and a dance floor. The decor is based on the theme of Adam
and Eve's Garden of Eden with faux apples and trees to compliment the atmosphere.
Badsha It is a poolside open-air
restaurant open for dinner only. The concept is Indian Mughlai tandoor table BBQ,
night-market style featuring Lucknavi cuisine from the Awadh region of North India.
The open tandoor kitchen acts as a central point serving a variety of exotic kebabs,
lentils, Indian breads and biryanis.
The Spa
Bar and Health Cafe It is located at the entrance to the Golden
Palms Spa. There is an outdoor juice bar meant for post-spa relaxation, serving
refreshing health drinks and light meals made from exotic fresh produce. And for
weight watchers the Golden Palms Spa Bar has customized special diet menus that
cater to every palate be it Rajasthani, Gujarati, Continental or from home South
India.
The Aqua Bar It is located
at the poolside serving healthy fresh juices, alcoholic beverages, ice creams,
smoothies and cocktails.
The Nostalgia Bar
It is located adjacent to the hotel lobby. The theme is Hollywood and Bollywood
through the years, with a 'fun pub' atmosphere with piped-in music. A giant plasma
TV screens yesteryear hits of Hollywood and Bollywood, while guests relax with
their favorite drinks. The bar also serves a variety of exotic snacks, besides
the wide range of imported and local spirits, wines, liquors and cocktails.
Conference and Banqueting The Golden
Palms Spa & Resort has extensive meeting, conference and banqueting facilities.
There are a total of five meeting rooms, comprising a ballroom that can be divided
into two sections; one conference hall and two smaller spa meeting rooms that
can be combined. There is also a well-equipped Business Centre with courier service,
photocopying, facsimile, PC / printer for hire, and Internet service.

Vidhana Soudha Bangalore's best-known

This beautiful 125 year-old structure with its Corinthian columns houses

Cubbon Park This 135 year-old park is
a 300 acre oasis of greenery in the heart of modern Bangalore. The park was laid
out in 1864 by Lord Cubbon, the then viceroy of India. The red Gothic structures
of the State Central Library and the High Court enrich the natural beauty of the
park. The park houses a number of significant institutions like the Cheshire Dyer
Memorial Hall, Ottawa Chatter, Museum, Century Club and the Press Club.
