Trophy Boat Race : One of the most important boat races in Kerala,
Nehru Trophy Boat Race is an annual event conducted on the second Saturday of
August every year, in the afternoon. The main event consists of a stiff competition
between the magnificent snake boats known as chundanvallam, for the coveted trophy.
